The Moroccan is available for transfer after returning to Genoa following a six-month loan spell at Inter.

"Ligue 1 is a perfect championship for young players to form, it's no good for me," the midfielder noted.

"Everything that I am reading about Paris SG and myself is just talk. I have not been contacted by them.

"My priority is to remain in Italy or to go and play my football in Spain."

Kharja, born in November 1982, joined Genoa in 2009 after two seasons at Tuscan minnows Siena.

Napoli have been linked with his services, although their interest seems to have cooled in recent times.
