Houssine Kharja is on the verge of leaving Genoa after he spoke tactics with Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri.
The attacking midfielder has been targeted by the Azzurri and a January move does now look imminent.
"I knew that the Napoli boss wanted to talk with Houssine and the telephone conversation took place," noted agent Giuseppe Galli.
"It was a sensible thing to do because the Azzurri are having a wonderful season and Kharja wants to earn his place in the side without upsetting the balance of the squad."

Although talks are at an advanced stage, there are still some details to iron out for a player who only joined Genoa from Siena in the summer.
"We hope to conclude the talks as soon as possible in order for Kharja to be able to wear the Azzurri shirt," added Galli.
