“When you have an offer from a club like Inter it’s not a difficult choice,” Keita said at his presentation this afternoon.

“I was very happy at Monaco and I thank them, just as I thank Inter for bringing me here.

“I was only there a year but I was happy, it’s a good club and everything works well. It’s a very good place for young people, but I had the chance to come here.

“I'm a player who likes to be a protagonist, I came here to be an important player.”

Keita also discussed Coach Luciano Spalletti, as well as the Nerazzurri’s start to the season which saw them lose to Sassuolo.

“He’s a very experienced Coach who knows Italian football very well. Everyone has talked very well of him, I think I can improve a lot under him.

“I don’t have a favourite position, I think I can play all four attacking positions. Everyone has to play with and without the ball.

Torino? We’re all ready, we can’t lose our heads just because we lost the first game. I’m very confident because I see how we are and how we work, it assures me we’re a great squad.”
