He started in this evening’s friendly outing and made a good impression, setting up Filip Djordjevic’s goal in the 2-1 victory.

Danilo Cataldi also converted a penalty after a foul on Senad Lulic, while Altinier had temporarily equalised.

There was an ugly incident, as some of the 150 Padova fans present made racist noises every time Keita touched the ball.

The 21-year-old shrugged off the abuse and went very close to getting a goal of his own just before half-time.

Dusan Basta was forced off with a left thigh injury, but precious little occurred in the second half.
