New Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is already hard at work and has identified a number of possible reinforcements this summer.

The 51-year-old director officially joined the club yesterday, penning a five-year contract, and is now tasked with guiding the club in their post-Andrea Agnelli era, needing to cut the wage bill and rejuvenate the squad.

Giuntoli impressed during his eight-year spell at Napoli and his work on the deals for players like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Kim Min-Jae will give Juventus confidence that he can build something special in Turin.

Pages six and seven of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport detail how Giuntoli has highlighted a number of exciting ideas for this summer’s transfer window, starting with Real Betis winger Luiz Henrique.

Should Gleison Bremer leave the club this summer, the Bianconeri could make a move for Atletico Madrid’s Mario Hermoso or VfB Stuttgart’s Konstantinos Mavropanos.

There are also plenty of ideas should Dusan Vlahovic be sold, with players like Lille’s Jonathan David and Tigre’s Mateo Retegui considered interesting targets.
