According to Tuttosport newspaper, Juventus want to take time to understand the future scenarios after the European Court of Justice boosted Super League hopes by saying FIFA and UEFA are abusing a dominant position.

Juventus have not released any official statement since the ECJ ruled on Thursday that FIFA and UEFA can’t sanction clubs and players participating in tournaments outside their jurisdiction.

President Gianluca Ferrero, who replaced Andrea Agnelli barely a year ago, has remained silent, and so have Juventus.

According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are considering all the future scenarios after the ECJ decision including which European competitions they could attend in the future, depending on the potential prize money.

Juventus “initiated the procedure” to quit the Super League this past July. It was believed to be part of an agreement with UEFA to avoid harsh punishments due to financial irregularities, which cost the Bianconeri exclusion from European competitions for 2023-24.

In the meantime, however, fans on social media have vented their discontent as the ECJ ruling proved former President Agnelli right.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri will likely face questions about the club’s stance on the Super League during a pre-match press conference on Friday at 12:45 GMT.
