Juventus have agreed a unique deal with Valencia for talented defender Facundo Gonzalez and have already set up a plan for the 20-year-old.

The Uruguayan centre back shined at the Under-20 World Cup, impressing director Cristiano Giuntoli, who’d been following the defender for some time beforehand.

Juventus opened talks with Valencia a few weeks ago and have now agreed an interesting deal with the Spanish side, which’ll see them not pay any fee for Gonzalez.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com details how Juventus will sign Gonzalez on a free transfer, but will include a series of add-ons totally around €3-4m, as well as including a 20% future resale clause and a right of first refusal.

The Bianconeri’s plan is to immediately loan out the 20-year-old defender to a Serie A side in order to gain experience and an understanding of life in the Italian topflight. Genoa and Hellas Verona are both keen, as are Serie B side Sampdoria.
