Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has put together a bid for Germany international full-back Andreas Beck, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 24-year-old has been on Juventus' radar ever since he scored the decisive goal against Italy in the semi-finals of the Under-21 European Championship in 2009.
Quoted in the Italian media, Beck's brother who also acts as his agent said: "We are in a negotiation phase with Juventus, but Andreas is a player who other clubs like too.

La Gazzetta understands Juventus have offered Hoffenheim €5m for Beck, but they also face competition from Valencia for his signature.
Hoffenheim are interested in selling Beck this summer, as his contract is due to expire in 2012, so the chances to cash in on his talent are running out.
