Genoa are asking €20m for goalkeeper Mattia Perin, so Juventus will send players in exchange to lower the cost.

The Italian international is keen to join the Bianconeri, who are offering a five-year contract worth €2.3m per season.

The Grifone have confirmed that negotiations are underway, but today’s Gazzetta dello Sport believes they’re asking for €20m.

Juve have no intention of spending over €10m, given that Perin has just one more year on his contract.

They will therefore look to lower the cost by offering players as part of the deal.

Stefano Sturaro is admired by Genoa, but he has plenty of offers elsewhere and the Bianconeri may prefer to bring in a transfer fee for him, rather than using him to get Perin.

It’s more likely that they will instead send one or more of Moise Kean, Emil Audero or Rolando Mandragora to Marassi on loan.
