Juventus are weighing up a move for Rubin Kazan defender Salvatore Bocchetti, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The 24-year-old full-back only moved to Russia in the summer, completing an unexpected €11m transfer from Genoa.

Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Juventus would like to take Bocchetti on a three-month emergency loan and have already made inquiries to that effect.

Bocchetti is said to be happy in Russia, although Cesare Prandelli didn't include him in Italy's latest squad for this evening's friendly with Romania.

Juventus believe that this could be a factor in Bocchetti wanting to leave Rubin as he was regularly picked under Prandelli's predecessor Marcello Lippi.

Luciano Spalletti's Zenit St. Petersburg have won the Russian Premier League, which officially concludes in a couple of weeks' time, so transfer speculation is naturally rife.
