Inter and Juventus are reportedly still vying for the signature of Santos forward Gabriel Barbosa.
The two Italian sides have both made offers for the Brazilian international, with the Nerazzurri outbidding the Turin side by €5m.
Despite earlier claims from his club, Sky reports that Santos have not accepted the Bianconeri’s €25m offer, but the Old Lady have an agreement with the player.
Juve are not willing to get involved in a bidding war, so are hoping to use the agreement with the player and his father as leverage.

Meanwhile, Inter are prepared to bring the player’s family to Milan to evaluate their offer, the news outlet reports.
The forward, known as Gabigol, is currently participating in the Olympic Games, and will make a decision on his future after the football tournament concludes.
His ownership situation is complicated, as Santos hold 40 per cent of his contract, with the player and his family owning another 40 per cent and Doyen Sports controlling 10 per cent.
Third-party ownership has been outlawed by FIFA, so any new transfer for a player with such an arrangement has to resolve that issue, with 100 per cent of the registration transferring to the new club.
In practice, that means Juventus and Inter must negotiate with Santos, Doyen and Gabigol when deciding a transfer fee.
