Juventus have seen their defensive form collapse in recent weeks, as they went from five goals in 12 games to no clean sheets in seven.

The Bianconeri are currently in third place, but the battle for a top four finish is extremely tight, especially as they go head-to-head with Atalanta in fourth on Sunday.

Among the reasons for their poor results there’s the lack of defensive cohesion, although even here they struggle for consistency.

Among the reasons for their poor results there’s the lack of defensive cohesion, although even here they struggle for consistency.

Juve conceded five goals in 12 competitive games from January 20, but in the last seven official matches they haven’t managed a single clean sheet.

During the most recent seven fixtures between Serie A and the Champions League, the Bianconeri let in nine goals.

In Serie A, the Old Lady conceded 27 goals in 30 rounds, meaning they have technically the joint best defence in the league with leaders Inter.

However, by their usual standards, it is a huge let-down.

Even Maurizio Sarri’s side had conceded only 26 goals by this stage of last season.
