Juventus have officially handed a fresh contract extension to highly-rated teenager Kenan Yildiz, who has put pen to paper on a professional deal running until the summer of 2027.

Yildiz joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer last summer following the expiry of his contract with Bayern Munich, originally signing a three-year contract until the summer of 2025.

However, having already attracted attention from a number of sides across Europe, Juve have had to act in order to tie Yildiz down for the foreseeable future.

The 18-year-old was part of the travelling senior squad that flew out for a pre-season tour of the United States this summer, before going on to make his professional debut during Juve’s 3-0 win over Udinese on the opening weekend of the Serie A season.

He has since gone on to make another appearance from the substitutes’ bench in Sunday evening’s 1-1 draw with Bologna

Speaking for the first time since his contract renewal, Yildiz told the club’s website: “I am really very happy to be part of this club. I’m at a loss for words right now, it’s almost too good to be true!

“My goals are to improve every day, working on the pitch to learn as much as possible, to continue my growth path here with Juventus. I didn’t expect this renewal so soon, but I’ve worked hard and I hope I can continue like this.”
