Juventus star Paul Pogba has still not made his return to the training pitch, continuing to carry out a personalised recovery programme.

The 29-year-old French midfielder suffered a knee injury almost immediately after his arrival at the Bianconeri in the summer and his decision to delay an operation only further pushed back his return to action, forcing him to miss the World Cup in Qatar. Pogba has been working hard on his recovery in recent weeks and even had a Juventus staff member follow him to Miami for his short break.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Pogba still hasn’t yet taken to the pitch at Juventus’ training ground in Continassa, continuing to carry out gym and pool work, as well as physical therapy.

The Bianconeri are not concerned and have been impressed with his determination during his recovery process. The hope is that the Frenchman will be available to Massimiliano Allegri next month and he could be in the squad for their clash with Napoli on January 13.

The return of Pogba, alongside Federico Chiesa, will give Allegri and Juventus a key attacking boost in the second half of the season.
