Antonio Conte’s Juventus lost the first game of their North American tour, falling 2-1 to Sporting Lisbon despite Alex Del Piero’s chip.

The Bianconeri were in action last night at the BMO Field in Toronto and tested out what they have practiced in training.

It took just 13 minutes for Sporting Lisbon to take the lead, as the Juve defence was distracted on a corner kick and allowed Djalo’ to tap in.

Djalo’ completed his brace with a strong left-foot strike from the edge of the box.

Conte made massive changes to his squad for the second half and it took until the final minutes for substitute Del Piero to pull one back.

He delighted the Toronto crowd in true ‘Pinturicchio’ style with a wonderful chip.

Juve have already flown back to their North American training base in Philadelphia.
