“It was a difficult match with Malmo,” Llorente told Sky Sports after last night’s 2-0 victory over the Swedes.
“We now have to win against Atletico and will try to clinch first place in our group.”
The Spanish forward also discussed the prospect of his return to the national team, insisting he will continue to work hard with the Bianconeri in the hope of catching Vicente Del Bosque’s eye.
“I’m not going to cry if I don’t go to the national team and I don’t know if I’ve got the confidence of the Coach.
“What I do know is that I’ll need to continue working well with my club.”
