Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has tried to put recent indiscretions behind him and has asked fans for extra support as they face Lazio.

The Bianconeri travel to Rome to face the Biancocelesti in the second-leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final tomorrow.

And the 25-year-old defender has insisted that the team are desperate to reach the final, whilst also admitting that he has to forget the fact he will now be banned for two games following incidents after Saturday's 1-1 draw with Genoa.

“A team like Juventus, a team that wants to be the best in Italy and one of the best in the world, must be stronger than one bad result,” he told the club's official website.

“We have to improve, be humble and have the desire to get better.

“So far this season we have won nothing. We now go and play Lazio, who themselves have come off the back of a bad defeat.

“We travel to Rome with enthusiasm, positivity and a will to win and get to the final.”
