Juventus have made a €52m offer for Manchester City ace Carlos Tevez, claims the President of Corinthians.

Andres Sanchez insists the Old Lady have made a move for the player after he announced his intention to leave Manchester for personal reasons.

"Manchester City have to decide whether to sell or not," said Sanchez, whose own club made a £35m bid for Tevez this week.

"They have a proposal for €52m from Juventus, but Tevez does not want to stay in Europe.

"I keep dreaming. I made the offer in the end and even I was surprised. But it now depends on City.

"If I am President of a club that has Tevez then I would not want to sell. But the word of the player has a lot of weight

"You see that when a player wants to leave, he will leave anyway. In football, contracts were made to be broken."

The striker seemingly wants to head back to South America in order to be closer to his children who live in Argentina.

Juve are searching for a top player and have been monitoring Sergio Aguero of Atletico Madrid and Villarreal's Giuseppe Rossi.

Neither Manchester City or Juventus have confirmed Sanchez's claims.
