Juventus winger Marko Pjaca has officially joined RSC Anderlecht on loan, but there does not appear to be an option to buy.

The Croatia international had been on the verge of a loan with Cagliari this week, with Sampdoria also showing interest.

However, he agreed personal terms with Anderlecht and flew in for his medical this morning.

However, he agreed personal terms with Anderlecht and flew in for his medical this morning.

“I am very excited by this new chapter in my career,” Pjaca told the Anderlecht website.

“It feels good to be at such a big club and the fact there are players here like Vincent Kompany, Chadli and Nasri obviously helped my decision. You can learn a lot from them and I see this as a great opportunity.”

The 24-year-old has been dogged by injuries ever since he joined Juventus from Dinamo Zagreb for €23m in 2016.

Pjaca had several serious knee operations in 2017 and 2019, failing to make much impact during loans at Schalke 04 and Fiorentina.

He made one 15-minute Coppa Italia appearance this season.
