Juventus reportedly held another meeting for Douglas Costa on Wednesday as Fiorentina continue to demand €50m for Federico Bernardeschi.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve are ready to offer Bernardeschi a five-year contract worth €4m a season after tax, but they are only prepared to pay €40m for the winger.
Although Fiorentina want €40m up front, they are also seeking another €10m in bonuses or Italy Under-20 starlet Riccardo Orsolini in return.

Although Fiorentina want €40m up front, they are also seeking another €10m in bonuses or Italy Under-20 starlet Riccardo Orsolini in return.
The Bianconeri, on the other hand, are only willing to offer midfielders Tomas Rincon and Stefano Sturaro or Orsolini on loan.
Consequently, Gianluca Di Marzio’s website claims an “important meeting” was held between Juve directors and Giovanni Branchini, the latter of whom represents Mattia De Sciglio and is acting as an intermediary in a potential deal for Costa.
Max Allegri is said to be “pushing” for the Brazilian’s signature, with the player also keen on the move.
However, given the Old Lady can sign just one more non-EU player, the Bayern Munich man joining would mean Danilo and Serge Aurier cannot.
Di Marzio adds there was another meeting with Neto’s agent, where it emerged that Juve wanted to sell the goalkeeper to Watford.
The Hornets are proposing a higher transfer fee, but the shot-stopper’s preference remains Valencia.
