The 1-0 Juve win in Bergamo on Wednesday evening had to be halted for eight minutes while Coach Antonio Conte and players from both teams tried to negotiate with the supporters to stay calm.
Atalanta ultras had thrown objects at a bus full of Juve fans outside the stadium and problems carried on inside, where the two sets of supporters threw fireworks and other dangerous objects into each others’ sections.
Both Juventus and Atalanta have been fined €50,000 and given a warning after the crowd trouble.
The Disciplinary Commission’s report today revealed there were five people injured in the clashes, which saw tiles broken off from the stadium toilets and used as projectiles.
Napoli were fined €3,000 for a member of their staff’s insulting and provocative behaviour towards the opposition bench, while Coach Walter Mazzarri received a €15,000 fine for dissent.
