Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric admitted he was not happy to hear the words from Mattia Zaccagni’s agent. ‘It’s a lack of respect’.

The attacking midfielder has scored four goals and contributed six assists in his 18 Serie A games this term, leading to rumours of a move away from the Bentegodi.

Agent Tullio Tinti didn’t play down the speculation when he spoke to Radio Rai about Zaccagni’s future and claimed the forward ‘will change teams’ this summer.

Agent Tullio Tinti didn’t play down the speculation when he spoke to Radio Rai about Zaccagni’s future and claimed the forward ‘will change teams’ this summer.

“The club is no longer in a position to keep him. He will surely find space in one of the great Italian teams,” the agent said.

Juric replied to the comment ahead of the match against Napoli on Sunday.

“I don’t like it when they talk about Verona in this way,” he said, according to SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla. “Or when the agent talks about Zaccagni like this.

“For me, it’s a lack of respect. I don’t see other teams selling. I don’t like that talk.

“I think Zaccagni is too intelligent, all this will not affect his performances, nor my choices.

“The company will then decide whether to sell or not, but a little respect is needed.”
