Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric is against the Super League, and claims ‘Football is not NBA.’
Juric held a press conference on the eve of their home clash against Fiorentina, but the coach was also asked his thoughts on the Super League announced by 12 European clubs last night.
“Football is something different from other sports. It’s something deep and rooted. It’s not like the NBA,” Juric said.

“Football is something different from other sports. It’s something deep and rooted. It’s not like the NBA,” Juric said.
“Here we are talking about culture, love and passion. We go towards the business this way, looking at fans from other countries where this culture is not rooted.
“It would be a pity, many clubs lost money due to COVID, and maybe they are trying to recover.”
What kind of game does he expect tomorrow?
“It’s difficult to explain Fiorentina’s position in the table. The other day they could have scored four goals to Sassuolo, but they ended up losing.
“They have a good team, but they are five points away from the relegation zone. They have everything I can’t explain their position.”
