Stevan Jovetic is ready for the campaign ahead after missing all of the 2010-11 season through injury.

The Montenegro international snapped knee ligaments in training last August. He was operated on and subsequently failed to recover in time to play even a minute of Serie A football.

"Stevan is now doing very well, he's at 100 per cent," agent Fali Ramadani told Firenze Viola. "His knee has fully recovered and it no longer causes him pain.

"The muscle in his leg has re-found its flexibility and its strength – it's now the same as the other leg.

"He'll return to Florence tomorrow to start pre-season and he's really motivated, he has a great desire to do well.

"Stevan's football and human qualities can't be doubted. He's a champion and he'll return to being one."

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder joined the Viola in the summer of 2008 for around €8m from Partizan Belgrade.
