Inter's Stevan Jovetic assures ‘I’m compatible with Mauro Icardi’ and praises Manchester City’s Yaya Toure and Pablo Zabaleta.
The former Fiorentina striker’s ability to play alongside top scorer Icardi has been a frequent topic of discussion this season, with Coach Roberto Mancini often preferring to field only one of them.
The Nerazzurri have been linked with Toure and Zabaleta, who played under Mancini at City, recently and Jovetic encouraged the club to pursue the pair.

The Nerazzurri have been linked with Toure and Zabaleta, who played under Mancini at City, recently and Jovetic encouraged the club to pursue the pair.
“Toure and Zabaleta are among the best in the world and they would be useful for any team, so also for Inter,” Jovetic told Corriere dello Sport.
“Zabaleta is reliable and never fails down the flank, Toure is a mix of physical power, technical ability and personality, a midfielder who rarely loses the ball because he hides it from opponents.
“When I was at City I noticed that no one got close to him in matches at the end of training. I asked why and my teammates laughed without answering.
“So at the first chance I tried to steal the ball off him and he just shouldered me off. From then I was always careful when he was close by…
“My ideal role? I like to be close to goal, but I’m not a centre forward.
“Can I play with Icardi? I think I do my best behind another striker or with another player beside me. We’ve had great games together and others that were less good. I think he’s a really strong striker and we are compatible, but we could’ve done much better.
“What do Juve have we don’t? Experience, elements of playing together for many years and more quality.
“Which compatriot would I recommend? Nikola Vukcevic, a Braga midfielder with great physicality and remarkable technique.”
