Napoli midfielder Jorginho “hopes to convince Antonio Conte” for a spot at Euro 2016, said his agent.
The Brazil-born Italy international has only one cap under his belt, but his chances of getting called up have increased with injuries to Marco Verratti and Claudio Marchisio.
“He is happy to be among the preliminary squad for the training camp,” agent Joao Santos told Radio Crc.
“From tomorrow he’ll be training with the side and we hope he can convince Conte to bring him to the Euros in France.
