Jordi Alba warns Italy “are a very difficult side to beat with a classic idea of football” ahead of tomorrow’s friendly with Spain.

The Barcelona defender spoke at a Press conference leading up to the test at the Dacia Arena in Udine.

“In the Euro 2012 Final it all went well for us, but Italy remain a very difficult side to beat,” said Jordi Alba of that 4-0 result.

“Italy have a good group, they are solid. There are some new players, but they retain their classic idea of football.”

Jordi Alba also stood up for under-fire veteran goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

“We know how good Casillas is and in my view he remains one of the three or four best goalkeepers in the world.”
