Manchester United may offer Adnan Januzaj on loan as part of a deal to pick up Fiorentina's Juan Cuadrado, according to reports.

The Colombian attacker is increasingly being linked with an exit this month, with Chelsea so far having been listed most prominently in speculation.

However, the 26-year-old's €35m release clause has been reported as yet to be met by the Blues, or by other reputedly interested party, Atletico Madrid.

According to La Nazione, though, Manchester United are apparently back in with a bid for Cuadrado, to follow on from summer interest.

Whilst they are seen as only matching Chelsea’s cash bid of €29m, Louis van Gaal’s side are also believed to be including the offer an 18-month loan in the opposite direction for Januzaj.

This report comes in contrast to claims from Januzaj’s agent yesterday that Van Gaal has already blocked a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain.

“Yes, PSG have shown themselves to be interested this winter,” Dirk de Vries has told Foot Mercato.

“They directly contacted Manchester United for information but Louis van Gaal announced that he cannot leave this winter. Not as a permanent transfer nor as a loan.

“The Coach considered him as an important player for squad. He is counting on everyone. It seems like a definitive decision, I don’t think that it can change.”
