And with stories circulating that Napoli and Inter could be interested, the 24-year-old’s representative has claimed that he is a perfect fit for Italy.
“I think Janmaat is a good player and ready for Serie A,” Stefano Salvini told Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.
“As well as his defensive duties, he can go forward with ease and help in attack.
“For me, he resembles Christian Maggio, but is a bit more physical.
“Inter? I haven’t had anything concrete from them, but he certainly fits the Mazzarri profile of a player.
“He could well be on their long list of candidates.”
