Serbian international Bosko Jankovic has extended his contract with Serie A side Genoa.

The midfielder would have been available on a Bosman at the end of the season, but he’s today put pen to paper on an agreement until June 2014.

“I’m very, very happy to continue my career in Genoa,” the 27-year-old noted. “This club is like a second family for me.

“I wanted to remain here. I’ll give my very best in order to get this fantastic club, with such a tradition, to the very top.”

Jankovic joined the Rossoblu in 2008 after a season at Palermo.
