The 21-year-old starts today in the Week 17 game away to the Zebrette, after several games on the bench behind Gervinho and Adem Ljajic.

Though the former Hellas Verona striker is aware of the challenges, he is looking forward to his opportunity.

“We are ready for this match that, as we already know, is going to be difficult,” said Iturbe to Roma TV. “We know that Udinese play well but we want to play our own game.

“In 2015 I hope to play more, I suffered some injuries, I have to put in a lot of effort to convince the Coach.”

The Argentine also released some statements to Sky Sport Italia, who asked him about his goal last year against CSKA Moscow, but he dismissed such retrospective thinking.

“I just have to play well with Roma. I haven't been lucky, I scored twice and was injured twice, but I'm trying hard and I want to do well.”
