It will be played at the Estadio da Cidadania in Volta Redonda on Sunday June 8 at 17.30 local time (21.30 in the UK, 20.30 GMT).

Italy are also due to play a friendly against the Republic of Ireland at London stadium Craven Cottage on May 31.

Cesare Prandelli will name his provisional 30-man World Cup squad on Tuesday May 13 and they’ll attend training at the Coverciano ground on May 19.

This list of players must be whittled down to the final 23 going to Brazil.
