Italy’s Under-21 side will play a highly prestigious friendly against Spain on November 13 in Siena.

The Azzurrini qualified for the European Under-21 Championships this week thanks to a 4-2 aggregate play-off victory against Sweden.

The FIGC announced the high-profile friendly match will be played at the Stadio Franchi in Siena.

Italy have not faced Spain at Under-21 level since the European Championship play-offs in October 2006, which the Nazionale won 2-1 on aggregate.

It’ll be the first time the Under-21 team has played in Siena for almost 14 years and it kicks off at 17.30 UK time, 18.30 local.
