This game will take place at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT) at the Stadio Dall’Ara in Bologna on Friday May 31.

It represents a friendly test for the Azzurri ahead of their World Cup qualifier with the Czech Republic on June 7 and the Confederations Cup, which runs from June 15-30 in Brazil.

Italy have not played in Bologna since June 1999, when they thrashed Wales 4-0 in a Euro 2000 qualifier.

The Nazionale have played ‘neighbours’ San Marino only once before, also a 4-0 result in February 1992.
