The Azzurri have to do without several top players such as Leonardo Bonucci and Ciro Immobile who had an ‘inconclusive’ Covid test.

“There aren’t many of us left, but I am not particularly worried. You need to focus less on those who aren’t here and more on those who are,” said Italy assistant coach Alberico Evani on the eve of the game.

“I’ve lost count of all those who have pulled out of the squad for tomorrow, frankly, but I am convinced this group gives its best in difficult situations.”

Evani will once again replace Roberto Mancini who has tested positive for Covid.

The game kicks off at 19.45 GMT
