The Azzurri were 4-0 up at the break after Antonio Di Natale’s brace, as well as goals from Antonio Cassano and Sebastian Giovinco.

Italy, who didn’t risk Mario Balotelli or Luca Cigarini because of slight knocks, completed the scoring in the second half when Antonio Nocerino and Fabio Borini rippled the net.

The tactician fielded a 4-3-3 with Emiliano Viviano in goal, defended by Ignazio Abate, Andrea Ranocchia, Davide Astori and Federico Balzaretti.

Nocerino played in midfield alongside Daniele De Rossi and Alessandro Diamanti. The trident was formed by Giovinco, Di Natale and Cassano.

In the second half, the Coach introduced Salvatore Bocchetti and Domenico Criscito instead of Astori and Balzaretti.

Pescara’s Marco Verratti, 19, took over from De Rossi in midfield, while the front three was made up of Ezequiel Schelotto, Mattia Destro and Borini.
