The Italian FIGC has been fined €27,000 after some fans made a Nazi salute during the Israeli national anthem at the Sammi Ofer Stadium.
A small group of supporters in the Italy end made the deeply offensive gesture before kick-off for the 2018 World Cup qualifier on September 5.
FIFA announced the fine for “discrimination and improper conduct amongst own group of spectators,” violating articles 58 and 67 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code.
