There are circa 1,600 North Macedonia fans who will be at the Stadio Barbera in Palermo tonight, as Italy have special dispensation for the World Cup play-off at 100 per cent capacity.

It kicks off at 19.45 GMT and the winners will go on to face either Portugal or Turkey for a spot at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Stadiums in Italy will be opened up to 100 per cent capacity from April 1, the first time since the original COVID lockdown in March 2020 that arenas have been packed.

However, Italy received special dispensation from the Government to anticipate the change of rules for this crucial match.

They were therefore able to sell out all 33,000 tickets for tonight, with 1,600 going to North Macedonia supporters.
