The agent of Giuseppe Rossi thinks Italian clubs have made a mistake in failing to sign Giuseppe Rossi from Villarreal.
The Italian international is available for transfer after his side’s relegation last season, but no Serie A outfit would take a gamble on him given that he’ll be sidelined until 2013 because of knee ligament damage.
“It seems that Giuseppe will stay at Villarreal for another five months,” Federico Pastorello is quoted as saying.

“It seems that Giuseppe will stay at Villarreal for another five months,” Federico Pastorello is quoted as saying.
“In my opinion, this was the last chance for an Italian club to sign him. In January, there will be too much competition from foreign clubs for his signature.
“It’s a real shame.”
Rossi, born in 1987, has spent just six months in the Italian top flight during a loan spell at Parma in 2007.
In October 2011 he snapped ligaments in his right knee. While trying to regain fitness for Euro 2012, he suffered the same injury again in April.
