Mauro Tassotti would be the favourite to take over in that situation, taking over the bench in a caretaker role.
However, even a win over the Cavallucci Marini would reportedly spell only a temporary reprieve for SuperPippo, with the newspaper believing the decision has already been made not to continue with him beyond this season.
Gazzetta speculates that part of the reason for the Rossoneri’s poor results is that the players are finding it hard to motivate themselves to play for a Coach whose days are numbered.
