Failure to beat Cesena on Sunday could see Milan Coach Pippo Inzaghi lose his job – but he’ll reportedly be gone at the end of the season regardless.

The Rossoneri have managed just one win in 2015, against bottom side Parma, and Champions League qualification now looks a distant dream.

This morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport states that while the intention had been for Inzaghi to stay until the end of the season, a failure to beat Cesena may very well spell the end.

This morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport states that while the intention had been for Inzaghi to stay until the end of the season, a failure to beat Cesena may very well spell the end.

Mauro Tassotti would be the favourite to take over in that situation, taking over the bench in a caretaker role.

However, even a win over the Cavallucci Marini would reportedly spell only a temporary reprieve for SuperPippo, with the newspaper believing the decision has already been made not to continue with him beyond this season.

Gazzetta speculates that part of the reason for the Rossoneri’s poor results is that the players are finding it hard to motivate themselves to play for a Coach whose days are numbered.
