“To be honest, we had our minds on Chievo from the day after the Milan draw. Chievo deserved their draw with Napoli last week, Domenico Di Carlo has organised the team and they’ll allow very few spaces. There will be many dangers in this fixture and we need a real Lazio performance.
“Luis Alberto, Lucas Leiva and Jordao are unavailable. Luis Alberto is generous and wanted to be there, but since the Milan game he’s been struggling with a groin injury and over the last few days he just hasn’t looked like he’s been running freely. It’s best he is rested and prepare to face Sampdoria.”
