The Biancocelesti lost 3-1 in a Stadio Olimpico clash against Udinese on Sunday.

“That’s an ugly defeat,” Inzaghi told DAZN.

“We were presumptuous and not humble because we knew Udinese would play this kind of game. They played well, we made many mistakes,” he added.

“It’s a wrong day, we are all very disappointed. That’s football and it can happen to lose deservedly.”

Inzaghi replaced Luis Alberto with Felipe Caicedo in the second half trying to give his side a more offensive asset.

“I had to make a choice and I picked up Luis Alberto. There were no problems. We’ll play against Borussia Dortmund in three days.

“It’s going to be a crucial important Champions League match, but our position in the table is a good one.”

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was rested today.

“I would play him but we decided it was better to rest him. He needs to recover the best fitness, he will be very helpful.”
