“We must transform the disappointment of the injustice that we suffered into ferocity,” he said at a Press conference for Thursday’s tie.
“The game against Cittadella is a trap. They’re a well-organised team, who mustn’t be underestimated.
“They’re doing well in Serie B and they also beat Palermo, so we must play with intensity. I have to put out our best team.
“We still have to assess how the players recovered after Monday’s game. Luis Alberto and Felipe Anderson took some knocks, which must be evaluated.
“Immobile will play as he’s banned in the League. "I talked a lot to the team yesterday and told them that we had to look forward.
“I reiterated to them that what happened was out of this world, but I’m proud of how the players reacted.
“Only Immobile will pay the consequences, but it must be emphasised that we kept a clear head in the first three games that we were penalised in.
“On Monday, we didn’t succeed, but it wasn’t easy. I hope the right measures are taken against those who mess up, but now we have to think about playing.
“There was a lack of quality against Torino, especially in the final third, but if those strange things hadn’t happened, we’d have beaten both Torino and Fiorentina.
“I expected a better performance against the Granata, but they’re a good team. We’re doing well, despite everything and everyone.
