“There’s a lot at stake for all the teams involved. We’ve prepared well to deal with a stadium full of enthusiasm, but we won’t be alone, as our fans will be there too,” said Inzaghi in his Press conference.

“We have had an extraordinary campaign to be here fighting it out with teams built on a very different budget for a place in the Champions League. We’ve set a new record for away wins and goals scored, it’ll be 54 games played after tomorrow and we’re in it to the end.

“We’ve had five wins and a draw coming in, so the team is in good shape. I saw the squad calm and aware of its own potential. Our dream is within reach, we just have to give our best in the remaining two games.”

Ciro Immobile, Marco Parolo, Luis Alberto and Jordan Lukaku are out of the trip to Crotone, while Stefan Radu needs a fitness test and Lucas Leiva is one booking away from suspension.

There have been concerns over using Stefan de Vrij in the showdown with Inter, seeing as he’ll be out of contract in June and has already agreed terms with the Nerazzurri.

“I am absolutely not worried about De Vrij, as I know what kind of a man and a professional he is. I’m sure he’ll honour the jersey out of respect for the fans, the club and his teammates.

“He was very happy here for three years. I think it’s been pretty clear what the situation was for some time, but it changes nothing for me.”
