Lazio Coach Simone Inzaghi fears club captain Lucas Biglia will be out of action for a while.
The midfielder had to be substituted after just ten minutes of the Biancocelesti’s 2-0 home win over Empoli on Sunday.
He had only recently shaken off a minor calf injury but speaking after victory over the Azzurri, Inzaghi confirmed the Argentine had suffered a fresh setback.
“Yesterday I spoke to Biglia, he had recovered well,” the Stadio Olimpico boss began. “Today he suffered a new problem.

The 40-year-old then praised the performance of his team during their latest victory, which sees them move to ten points from six Serie A matches.
“Today we were good, just like in other previous games. I am satisfied with the team, we will move forward because we need to grow.
“We have a lot of room for development. It was difficult to get ten points in five matches with our schedule. I am very satisfied, we are laying good foundations.”
