Inter are strongly interested in Sassuolo starlet Giacomo Raspadori and are preparing an offer to sign him in 2022.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Raspadori is one of Inter’s major targets to strengthen their attacking department, but with Lautaro Martinez expected to stay at the club for at least one more season, the Nerazzurri are already working to bring Raspadori to the Stadio Meazza in June 2022.
Lautaro’s contract expires in 2023 and Inter are in talks to extend his stay at the club. The Nerazzurri are not planning to sell the striker in the current transfer window, having already sold Achraf Hakimi to PSG for €70m.

However, if Lautaro refuses to sign a contract extension, Inter will sell him at the end of 2021-22 and Raspadori is the main candidate to replace him from next season.
Sassuolo value the 21-year-old at €20m, and Inter want to lower his price-tag, including Lorenzo Pirola, Sebastiano Esposito, Martin Satriano or Cesare Casadei in a player-plus-cash swap deal.
The Serie A champions are aware many Italian clubs have set their sights on the Italy international, so they are already trying to finalize a deal. Sassuolo and Inter are on very good terms and so are their CEOs Beppe Marotta and Giovanni Carnevali.
