Real Madrid‘s Isco has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Milan, who are looking for a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkey playmaker joined Inter as a free agent at the end of his contract with the Rossoneri, so Milan’s Technical Director Paolo Maldini is on the lookout for a new attacking midfielder.

The likes of Hakim Ziyech and Dusan Tadic have also been linked with a move to the Stadio San Siro.

The Ajax midfielder is open to joining the Rossoneri, but the Lancers value him at €20m and Milan can only sign him on the cheap.

However, Ajax’s sporting director Marc Overmars warned the Rossoneri that Tadic ‘is not for sale.’

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants have put talks with Chelsea on hold as their economic demands for Ziyech and Tiemoué Bakayoko are too high.

Milan have asked for time while looking for other possible targets.

The pink paper reports Isco is the last idea for the Rossoneri as the 29-year-old could be on his way out of Real Madrid.

The Spaniard is not part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans at the Santiago Bernabeu, not to mention Milan and Real Madrid are on very good terms after agreeing to a deal for Theo Hernandez’s transfer in 2019.

The two clubs are also close to finalizing an agreement for Brahim Diaz’s return to Milan on loan with an option to buy.
