Inter do a double deal with Cagliari, loaning them Italy Under-21 talents Samuele Longo and Lorenzo Crisetig.

The Nerazzurri announced this evening that 22-year-old striker Longo joins the Sardinians on a two-year loan “which includes both an option and a counter-option.”

These deals are increasingly common now that Italy has abolished the practice of co-ownership deals.

Their 21-year-old midfielder Crisetig left the Inter training camp today in order to complete his loan move to Cagliari, having spent last season in Serie B at Crotone.

“Lorenzo is enthusiastic about the idea of working with a Coach like Zdenek Zeman, as he’s convinced the tactician can help him grow,” agent Patrick Bastianelli told FCInterNews.

“It is a two-year loan, as Cagliari have made a commitment to work with the lad for two seasons and will have the opportunity to buy him after that period. Inter kept themselves the possibility of a counter-option.

“Crisetig was wanted by clubs in Italy and Germany, but the choice of Cagliari was made so that he could have the opportunity to work with Zeman.”
