Inter sweat over the conditions of Italy duo Stefano Sensi and Alessandro Bastoni, who stopped training ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Lithuania tonight.

The Nerazzurri are worried ahead of Sunday’s match against Sampdoria, as Sensi and Bastoni had to stop training due to physical problems, according to Calciomercato.com.

Immobile and Insigne leave Italy camp

The Inter duo are in the national retreat for the World Cup qualifiers and were expected to be in the squad against Lithuania on Wednesday night.

The midfielder, Sensi, has a calf problem, while the defender suffered a bruise in training and both are uncertain for the match tonight.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is not the only one who is worried, as Italy CT Roberto Mancini is struggling with a host of absentees ahead of the match in Reggio-Emilia.

Leonardo Spinazzola, Manuel Lazzari, Andrea Belotti, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Marco Verratti were already out injured, but Ciro Immobile, Nicolò Zaniolo, Federico Chiesa and Lorenzo Insigne have been added to the list in recent days.

Mancini was hoping to have both Bastoni and Sensi available, but the Inter pair might not be ready for action.

The FIGC is expected to give an update on the players in question soon.
